IIPHG is implementing a project titled ” Interventional trial to measure TB drug adherence using Tuberculosis Monitoring Encouragement and Adherence Device (TMEAD) among DR-TB patients in selected urban areas of Gujarat and Maharashtra” to improve the treatment adherence among the drug resistant (DR-TB) patients.
This study aims to evaluate treatment adherence rate and treatment outcome by intervention to TMEAD based approach for TB management among DR-TB patients on shorter & Longer regimen.
The initiative is led by Sensedose Technologies Private Limited in association with IIPHG and supported through IHF (India Health Fund).
