Bal Poshan Yojana (Supported by Nayara Energy)

IIPHG, in order to fulfil the aim of National Nutrition Strategy, proposed ‘Bal Poshan Yojana’ to reduce malnutrition through novel public-private partnership for the treatment of severe acute malnutrition in Devbhumi Dwarka.

Objectives of this Yojana:

  • Engage Private Nursing Homes having at-least one Allopathy Doctor
  • Build capacity of public and private allopathic medical practitioners for treatment of severe acute malnutrition.

Willing practitioners were identified based on the selection criteria and their willingness to participate in the program. Three party MoU draft was prepared including Terms & Condition, Undertakings, Three Party Details and Annexures. Private Practitioners were interviewed, of those invitations were sent to the interested private practitioners.

Tri-Patriate MoU for Bal poshan yojana has been duly signed with three private practitioners namely Dr. Apurvadan Ratnu Narendradan, Managing Trustee, Niramay Charitable Trust, Dr. Sagar Parsotam Bhut, Krishna Multispecialty hospital and Dr. Bharat. K. Gadhvi, Krisha Hospital maternity and surgical centre.
