Overview :
Wellbeing Cell at the Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar (IIPHG) serves as a vital resource for the entire IIPHG students’ community. The mission is to guide students towards holistic well-being, encompassing both physical and emotional well-being.
Physical well-being is about actively nurturing your body to achieve optimal health and function. It involves making conscious choices that support your physical health, such as engaging in regular physical activity, maintaining a balanced diet, adequate sleep, and practicing good hygiene. These habits allow students to experience an optimum level of vitality/energy, a positive mood, and improve concentration in studies.
Emotional well-being isn’t just about feeling good. It’s about regulating and managing emotions positively and navigating challenges in a way that fosters a fulfilling and productive life. This includes building healthy relationships, adapting to change, and demonstrating resilience. We aim to create an empathetic environment.
The Cell focuses on fostering a culture of well-being within the IIPHG community, moving beyond simply addressing illness but promoting positive health and overall well-being.
