Dr Tapasvi Puwar is a Public health professional, with over twenty five years of enriching professional work experience in Public Health specifically in the field of Public Health Nutrition, Non Communicable Diseases, Maternal and Child Health, Vector borne diseases etc.

By training , MBBS, MD in Preventive and Social Medicine from Gujarat University India and MPH in Health Policy and Management from UNC, Chapel Hill USA.

Experience of working at Smt NHLM Medical College, Ahmedabad and other medical colleges of Gujarat India as faculty for 10 years. Has teaching, training and research experience during the tenure. Closely worked with Municipal Corporation Ahmedabad and Government of Gujarat along with various civil society organizations. Worked in Earth-quake relief work for six months in Gujarat.

Worked at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, UNICEF-Gujarat for more than four years in the Maternal and Child Health area. Worked with CARE India at Bihar in BMGF funded project on Technical Support to Government of Bihar for Health and Nutrition. Worked as one of team members managing the project across 38 districts of Bihar. Thus have more than 8 years of experience of working in the field of implementation of Public Health Programs
