About centre:

The Centre for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (QUALIPS), established on May 2, 2024, at the Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG), is dedicated to advancing the Indian healthcare system through quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. By integrating capacity building, behavioural interventions, live projects, and cutting-edge research, QUALIPS aims to enhance healthcare frameworks and policy development. Within nine months, the centre has trained over 100 healthcare professionals in hospital administration, patient safety, and quality management. Through collaborations with national and international organizations, QUALIPS is actively addressing critical healthcare challenges and promoting evidence-based decision-making. Centre is dedicated to advancing healthcare quality and patient safety through research, capacity building, and policy advocacy. Our mission is to foster a culture of excellence in healthcare delivery by integrating best practices, innovative approaches, and collaborative learning.
