Dr. Medha Wadhwa currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar. Previously she was working as Scientist D at the Health Technology Assessment Regional Resource Centre, Indian Institute of Public Health in Gandhinagar. She has also worked as an Associate Professor in the Department of Healthcare Management at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth for a total of 9 years and 2 months. She possess certifications as a NABH Internal Auditor and Lean Six Sigma black, green and yellow belt. She has a strong passion for academia and have developed the curriculum for various courses in the MBA (Healthcare) program. With respect to the teaching role, she had been actively involved in instructing a range of subjects including different areas of hospital administration, quality management in hospitals, Hospital Safety and Waste Management and health technology assessment. She has held important position as Secretary for the UNESCO Chair of Bioethics Haifa. She has been actively involved in various consultation projects focusing on quality improvement, standard operating protocols (SOPs), policy implementation, and internal audits at reputable NABH-accredited hospitals. A sought-after speaker, she has been invited as a resource faculty to participate in 56 workshops, seminars, and conferences at national and international levels. Her research contributions include over 43 published research papers in indexed peer-reviewed journals, 7 book chapters, and 2 books currently under review for publication. In recognition of her accomplishments, she has received 10 awards for paper presentations, research, and contributions to the field of academics.
