Since 2022, Mr. Hardik Vanik has been serving at the Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar, managing library operations and contributing as an Assistant to the Member Secretary for the Institutional Ethics Committee.
A dedicated and experienced library professional with over 11 years of expertise in academic library management, digital repositories, and information literacy. Hardik has worked with reputed institutions such as the DC Patel School of Architecture, CEPT University, and DA-IICT. Skilled in utilizing advanced library management systems like Koha, SOUL, and Slim++, he also has proficiency in digital tools like DSpace, Omeka, and VuFind. His technical acumen extends to content management systems (Joomla, Drupal, WordPress) and reference management software (Zotero, Mendeley).
With a strong commitment to fostering information literacy and innovation, Hardik actively contributes to research coordination, library administration, and user education on plagiarism and reference tools.
He has also published journal papers and presented at conferences on topics including bibliometric analysis and emerging trends in academic libraries.
Currently pursuing a PhD, Hardik holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Gujarat University
