Ms. Divya Nair H
Lecturer
Ms. Divya has done her M.Sc. in Biostatistics from Manipal University and B.Sc. in Statistics from Kerala University. She started her career working as biostatistician at Madras Diabetes Research Foundation (MDRF), Chennai. Later she joined Indian Institute of Public Health, Hyderabad and currently working as Lecturer at Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar.
At IIPHG, she is involved in teaching and research and teaches biostatistics and provides hands-on training to students on various statistical software packages like R commander and Epi Info. Ms. Divya was the topper in M.Sc. Biostatistics of 2011-2013 batch, Manipal University and obtained Kerala University merit scholarship 2008- 2011 for B.Sc. Degree course in Statistics. She has presented a paper titled “Wealth inequality and preferred place of child delivery in India: A Beta regression approach” in U.G.C. Sponsored National Conference on Analytics of Population Statistics and Its Role in Public Welfare Policies. She was also a guest speaker for Zonal Continuing Medical Education (CME) for postgraduates, Osmania Medical College. She was a member of academic committee of U.G.C. Sponsored National Conference on “Analytics of Population Statistics and Its Role in Public Welfare Policies” and a member of organizing committee of “Health Analytics and Disease Modeling 2016 Symposium” and workshop on “Clinical Data Analytics 2016”.
